Stand your AFO on a table surface and measure to top of AFO from table surface
5 - 6 1/2 ideal for braces 7 - 9 inches height
6 - 7 1/2 ideal for braces 9 - 10 1/2 inches height
7 - 8 1/2 ideal for braces 10 - 12 1/2 inches height
Teen 8-10 ideal for braces 13 - 16 inches in height
Adult ideal for braces 13 - 16 inches in height
(larger circumference)
These suggestions should be reasonably close but will be
affected also by circumference of calf.
